The Production by Erich Schoder

At the end of the 60`s , Erich Schoder was the last rifle production

apprentice to learn the craft of making the “RB2003”

described above. For the past 32 years, it has concerned him to see

how the rifle of a century – as the “Mannlicher-Schönauer” certainly

was – has increasingly been forgotten.

The 100 year Jubilee inspired the rifle manufacturer, now a company

director himself, to take the step of producing a new model of the

“RB 2003 ” together with his team of

expert craftsmen, in order to be able to offer both the hunting

community and weapons collectors a hunting rifle just like the one

described above.

The production of a limited series naturally involves long delivery times. This

should, however, in no way dim the joy of acquiring a legendary hunting rifle.

The “RB 2003 " is so identical with its 20 th

-century predecessors that it`s even possible to interchange individual parts.

Much of the production process is still done by hand today, exactly as it used to be.

The rifles will be produced to order, so that the desired calibre, gunstock shape, telescopic sight

etc. can be ordered individually. Luxury models, engravings, gold inlay decoration, monograms, shaft

magazines, etc. are all possible.You will find it a great pleasure to purchase and own, not only an

outstanding hunting rifle, but also the legendary weapon of a century!
